Iweha examines the reasons for the ineffective implementation of Nigeria’s National Information Technology Policy and its shortcomings as a comprehensive and functional ICT policy for Nigeria. Outlines the efforts made by government agencies and professional associations towards evolving a sustainable national policy, as well as the factors that have militated against it. Offers suggestions towards the emergence of an appropriate national ICT policy.
