The Right to Communicate: Historical Hopes, Global Debates and Future Premises edited by Aliaa Dakroury, Mahmoud Eid, and Yahya R. Kamalipour is a collection of 15 chapters whose authors examine the ongoing debates that frame contemporary discussions on the right to communicate. It calls for a reassessment of the study of this important right, looking beyond the work of Jean d'Arcy. In particular, it aims to contribute 'to an intellectual and multidisciplinary framework that will help better understand emerging issues in the practice of this complex human right.' A thought-provoking collection intended to generate meaningful and productive debate as well as sustained and coordinated policy actions.
