This article addresses aspects of information rights for cyberspace involving the validity of conceptions for freedom of communication, and the principal handicaps and challenges to development of international standards for constitutional human rights guarantees of freedom of expression. It asks 'In what sense of freedom of communication do we mean an /information society'?
